Soho Gala (2023)
Soho Rep has hired me several times to design their yearly fundraiser, their Spring Gala. These events let the little girl in me come out. There is not a script to go by, but the story is the honoree. The director gives me the key ideas, color palette, theme and structure of the evening. And I am off to the races!

My goal is always to have an audible response from the guests as they walk into the space! My first questions are things like does the event have a theme, does the event have a color palette, what is the location of the event and how many guests. I love to go very early in the process to see the location. To find out what the space and the event need.
